natural beauty, green beauty, makeup, clean beauty, organic beauty

As well as updating my wardrobe for Autumn, I also like to update my makeup collection!

I’ve had an urge to buy berry toned shades along with a new foundation and a matte highlighter.

Living Nature Foundation (Pure Sand) £28/30ml

This is a repurchase for me (although, I didn’t finish my last bottle – I managed to lose it)! It took me a little time to work out how this best works for me. It does dry quite quickly on the skin and can leave my face feeling dry. However, I get around that by adding it to a touch of moisturiser. This makes it easy to apply and combats the dry skin feeling. Pure Sand is a great colour match for me and it has buildable, yet still natural looking coverage.

NatOrigin Powder Blush (Cyclamen) £21.50*

As a fan of NatOrigin mascara and nail polish I was excited to try this blush. It comes in a lightweight mirrored compact and leaves a subtle flush of colour to the cheeks. It is also certified organic by Ecocert.

Zao Organic Beauty Light Touch Illuminating Complexion (Sand) £14.50

This is a matte highlighter from one of my favourite make-up brands. I haven’t really put this to the test yet, although I love how it looks under my eyebrow and as a base before eyeshadow. I will keep you updated on my thoughts.

Ere Perez Natural Cosmetics (Cocktail) £17*

This is the first product I have tried from Ere Perez and I want more! I’ve been slightly addicted to using this from the moment I received it. I wear it with the Jane Iredale Lip Definer in Berry and it works so well. The colour pay off is excellent along with the longevity. I will be going back for more!

W3ll People The Expressionist Bio Extreme Mascara (Purple) £18.50

Oh how I wanted to love this! It’s not a disaster, I love W3ll People mascara; it just doesn’t show up as purple on my lashes. When I first apply it you can really see the colour and then quickly my lashes look normal. I haven’t had anyone comment that my lashes are purple!

NEEK Skin Organics Australia (On My Mind) £15*

This is a more subtle version of Ere Perez Cocktail. In fact, these two remind me of my two favourite MAC lipsticks Syrup and Craving (sort of). Mainly being one is a softer version of the other. This NEEK lipstick is a great apply and go lipstick. It feels lovely on my lips, although does need to be reapplied throughout the day.

PHB Ethical Beauty Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow (Grape & Dove) £9.95

I tried a PHB eyeshadow last month and have had to come back for more! I’ve been really impressed with the wide shade range along with the performance of these shadows. Following on my autumnal theme, I chose this gorgeous shade Grape. I have found that these shadow work well on top of a cream base. I have been using my RMS Eye Polish in Myth or on top of RMS Living Luminizer. This makes them last longer and also gives them an almost metallic sheen to the lid.

I also added Dove to my collection. A really easy to wear soft grey which works well for both day and evening looks.

Zao Organic Eyeliner Pencil (Plum) £9.95

The Zao liner in black is my favourite eyeliner to use, so I was delighted to see this in the shade Plum. I have found for some reason that the formula does not seem to be the same as the black. It doesn’t work so well in the waterline. I like to wear this pushed into my lashes with a little bit of Grape shadow on top.

Living Nature Eyeshadow (Blossoms) £12.00

I had one space left in my Living Nature quad and thought this would be perfect. It is a gorgeous dusty pink which works well alone or with either of the PHB shadows. I have been very impressed with the Living Nature shadows and like the way you can make your own palette.
