I was keeping an eye out for some green beauty ‘Black Friday’ deals. There were a few things I knew I was going to buy, some I didn’t get round to buying and some I had no idea I was going to buy!
This is the result of my Black Friday shopping….
Green People is a great place to shop for green beauty at any time of the year and I took advantage of their 3 for 2 offer over the Black Friday weekend. I love Green People’s hair care, I find it leaves my hair with a great shine and is good for caring for my sensitive scalp. I decided to give the Intensive Repair range a try this time as my hair is coloured. I haven’t used it yet, but will let you know how I get on.
I also needed to replace my Green People Volumising mascara. I love this mascara and will always have one on the go. A repurchase of any makeup product is a real sign of success for me and I can highly recommend this mascara.
It has only just occurred to me while writing this post that I slightly boobed on the offer situation. I probably should have added something else to my order (let’s face it, it wouldn’t be hard) , to take full advantage of the offer!
I saw Lilly Pebbles talk about these Merry & Bright Christmas crackers (containing a limited addition 40ml Renaissance Cleansing Gel) at the beginning of the year. She had picked up a few in the January sales and said how useful they were for travelling. I tend to take my Renaissance Cleansing gel when I travel, but it is a fairly bulky bottle. When I saw Oskia were going to be offering 20% off everything for what they were calling ‘Bright Friday’, I knew what I was buying! Oskia also donated all of their Bright Friday profits to Evelina’s Childrens Hospital – a fantastic gesture.
I saw a Tweet last weekend by Amelia Moss offering 50% of all of their products – now that’s what I call an offer hard to refuse! I hadn’t tried anything from Amelia Moss before, in fact, I hadn’t really heard of them. They have a small, affordable range of oils, toners and clay masks. I really like the packaging, simple pastel colours – they look so pretty. The products came in personalised cardboard boxes. This is a lovely idea, however, I intend to give some of these as gifts, so a personalised box wasn’t appropriate. I chose a bottle of Rose Water, a Rhassoul Clay mask, a Rosehip oil and a Jojoba oil all for £23.50. There is currently 30% off every order with the discount code DECEMBER30. I’ll let you know what I think.
I am slightly kicking myself that I didn’t stock up on some favourites of mine that were discounted last weekend, but there is a limited as to how much you can buy and I’m glad I’ve bought some things I haven’t tried before.
Did you grab a Black Friday bargain?
