I don’t think I’ve ever had so many makeup empties at the same time! Although sad, it does mean I’ve found some great products! Here’s what I’ve loved to the end (well, nearly in some cases)….

RMS Beauty Uncover-Up This is my second pot of this concealer/foundation in shade 11. It is perfect for my more mature skin as it is easy to blend and is made with some great skincare ingredients such as coconut oil, castor oil, jojoba oil. I use it to even out my skin tone or use it to brighten my under eye area. It’s a product I resisted buying, but as I’m about to buy a third pot, I’m glad I did!

Sappho Liquid Foundation I have loved using this lightweight, liquid foundation. I bought it slightly reluctantly when I was in LA in the summer, as it was quite pricey and I hadn’t had a chance to try it out properly. I am glad I took the chance as it’s been one of my favourite natural foundations to date. I wish this was available in the UK. I have been using shade Jennifer, which although darker than my skin tone now, seems to still work. I think I’ve only got one more ‘pump’ left. I may have to take the scissors to this bottle!

Zao Organic Creamy Concealer This is also a repurchase for me. I like the fact you can apply this straight from the bullet. It is also nice and creamy and melts into my skin. It is, in fact, quite similar to RMS Uncover Up. I tend to use this to brighten any areas of darkness and also as a subtle highlighter as I have the lightest shade, Ivory. There’s only a tiny bit of this left and I will be placing another order.

Zao Organic Light Touch Illumination Complexion This wasn’t love at first sight, however, I was genuinely sad when this came to an end. I liked to use it when wearing a smoky eye, just under my eyebrows. I felt it really complimented the look, giving a polished finish. I also used it in the inner corner of my eyes. The only negative is that this didn’t last very long at all, so perhaps not the best value for money, but I would consider buying this again.

Zao Organic Black Pencil Eyeliner Another Zao Organic product I’m nearing the end of (can you tell I like this brand)?! This is my all time favourite black eyeliner. I like to use it rubbed into my lash line to define my eyes, rather than ‘line’ them. It is also performs pretty well in the water line too. I’m not quite at the end of this, but will replace as soon as it’s too small to use.

Jane Iredale Lip Pencil’s are my absolute favourites. They definitely give MAC a run for their money! I have lots in my collection, but my favourite has to be this one in Spice. It is a ‘my lips, but better’ colour, feels comfortable to wear and lasts really well. There is a wide range of shades to choose from too. I have just placed an order for a replacement.

What makeup have you used and loved recently?
